About the Artist
Rebecca DePorte
In 2020, I left the corporate world to pursue my passion for wildlife photography. I photograph close to home and around the world, capturing and sharing the behavior, relationships, and individual character of animals.
My interest in conservation guides how I look at wildlife and the habitats animals depend on. Through my work with D&R Greenway Land Trust, I photographed the wildlife of the Betty Wold Johnson Hillside Farm Preserve for exhibitions and interpretive signs, helping people connect with the life that protected land supports.
My photographs have been exhibited and published internationally and are offered as museum-quality, limited-edition fine prints. The Wit Gallery in Lenox represents my work in Western Massachusetts. I am an owner/member of the fine art photography cooperative Gallery 14 in Hopewell, New Jersey. I am also a member of Phillips’ Mill, an arts organization in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
